 "Other union leaders with an entertainment industry connection who were elected to the 55 member committee were Larry Cohen, president of the Communications Workers of America (CWA, which represents cable and telephone installers, as well as television station technicians), and Edwin D. Hill, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW, which represents television station technicians). Also elected was Maria Elena Durazo, leader of the L.A. County Federation of Labor."
